Position Overview:
Do you want to be part of a team that ensures a clean and pleasant environment for Town of Castle Rock patrons and employees? The Town of Castle Rock has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time Facility Services Worker/Janitorial in our Facilities department.
This position is responsible for cleaning buildings owned by the Town of Castle Rock.
They will perform duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization.
Location:
Recreation Center Town of Castle Rock Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Cleans Town facilities including office areas and restrooms.
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, spot cleans and otherwise cares for floors.
Dusts furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Cleans toilets, sinks, showers, drinking fountains, appliances, gym equipment and glass.
Empties waste receptacles Helps ensure public safety by assisting with snow and ice removal on building exteriors Works within the Facilities Division to deliver room/event setup requests in the timeframe requested Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of equipment, materials, techniques and supplies used in the cleaning of buildings Ability to operate floor buffing machine, scrubber, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, snow blowers and other minor equipment Ability to work independently Ability to understand verbal and written directions Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, holidays and/or weekends as needed Please submit applications at crgov.
